We spent time exploring different options near the shore. The captain is very knowledgeable and passionate about fish and their habitat. He made sure that we were always in the right places. He pointed out local wildlife which included a number of aquatic birds, dolphins and manatee.
He was full of excellent information about different fish and their flesh qualities (dead on). He filleted Crevalle Jack for us, he remove the middle dark meat and the fillets were absolutely delicious!
He is an admirable young man who is going to college, and running his own business!
He shows up on time, is very personable, respectful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to spend a few hours relaxing, fishing and learning about local wildlife. My boys really enjoyed the trip! I will fish again with Cole on my next trip!

Family of 4, 2 teenagers.  Thanks Cole, we had a great time, the boat was immaculate and comfortable for the four of us.  We caught our legal amount of redfish and he filleted them for us to take home.  Captain Cole was awesome, baited all of our lines and even did my casting for me while I watched my menfolk trying to cast over and over again.  He was great to talk to, and was very knowledgeable about various topics including boating, fishing, and the area both on and off the water.  If the weathers great, don’t forget your sunscreen.  We will definitely book with him again and thoroughly recommend others to book a fishing charter with him.

September 25, 2021…What a good weather day for fishing!! Captain Cole was very knowledgeable about all of the fish and waterways in the area.  We caught our limit on Red Drum within 30 minutes into fishing. If you’re looking for a great fishing experience and a knowledgeable, down to earth Captain who knows how to catch fish and treats his guests well, look no further Captain Cole is your answer!  We will not hesitate to book another trip and HIGHLY recommend Southern Mayhem Fishing Charter.

From arriving on the pier, Capt Cole was already waiting for us at 6:30a with boat in the water.
We went out to catch bait first, which was awesome!  He explained the waterways and what he looked for when searching for bait.  We then hit the spots he liked the most, each one was better than the next!  We have never caught so many fish in a 4 hour timeframe in our lives. 
Hanging out and talking with Capt Cole was another perk of the entire trip.  He told us all about the fish we caught (7 species in total) and was full of handy tips for the area.  We will definitely be getting ahold of Capt Cole our next visit to FL.  I recommend getting in his charter if you are planning a trip to the Cocoa Beach area.  If we could give it more than 5 stars we would.  Amazing!  Thanks Capt Cole!

Great trip, weather didn’t cooperate at the end but still caught 11. 2nd time with Capt Cole, definitely recommend!
