Captain Brian was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive during our 4 hr. near shore fishing charter. He communicated with us prior to the trip, making some modifications to the charter to provide an enjoyable morning trip in the July heatwave we were experiencing. We had a slow start but eventually started catching fish and all four of us caught multiple fish. We caught Black Drum and Black Sea bass.  We also latched into something big that was impossible to bring in because it took the line on a light weight rod. Capt. Brian believes it was probably a Blacktip Shark.  The captain was attentive to our bait and rod maintenance whenever necessary. He is knowledgeable of the Charleston area and history. I would definitely consider Captain Brian again to charter for a fishing trip. I would have given the trip 5 stars if we could have got into some larger fish(most were under the legal size). Captain Brian knew where to fish, unfortunately we couldn’t land the bigger ones.

We had a great time on the water catching three sharks, a guitar fish and a huge red fish.  Highly recommend!

It was a great trip! Caught several varieties of fish. All the fish I caught was a first for me. Redfish, trout, whiting, blue fish, lady fish, sting ray, and shark!! Captain Brian was very knowledgeable about the fishing and also about the history of some of the ships and points of interest in the harbor! Would do it again if I get the chance and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to catch fish! Thanks Cap!!
