Captain Nate was excellent. My son and nephew (both 7) wanted to go shark fishing. We hooked up on a 5’+ blacktip and got it to the boat before it managed to slip off the hook. The boys also pulled up 30+ smaller fish each while we waited on sharks. We snuck in some trolling late in the morning and brought in a nice kingfish and barracuda. We are going to plan an offshore trip with Captain Nate next year.

The Checkmate was an awesome boat and Captain Nathan was great as well. He’s well prepared and great with young anglers. He knew the best places to reel in some memorable fish that kept my boys busy reeling fish in to the boat. Highly recommend!

Went on the shark fishing charter for a bachelor party trip, and it exceeded our expectations. We caught a couple of Sand Tiger Sharks and a snook. By far the coolest fishing experience we’ve all had. Thanks again Captain Nate!

Couldn’t of had a better time. Capt Nate was very knowledgeable and personable. After trolling around a bit and catching some Barracuda we went after our target fish, sharks. Capt Nate knew just the right place to go and within an hour or so we had hooked 4 sharks. Just a fantastic trip. My only hope is that he is available the next time I head to Florida. Thanks for the wonderful outing.
