Went out with Capt. Richard and deckhand Adrian. We booked a morning and evening session. The morning has slow and alone would have been an alright time. The afternoon was a great fish and even had the chance to get a big drum. We caught a plethora of fish, made some awesome memories, and had some good laughs. P.S. Even though his name is Capt. Richard, he’s not a dick.

Captain Richard did a spectacular job getting us on fish and crab in the first 30 minutes. We mentioned up front that we wanted red drum and he kept that in mind the whole time. At first, we landed a few undersized reds but then later in the day we landed two 34-38” bull reds. This was my 4th trip with Seaplay and they delivered like always. Four anglers 4 oversized red drum, a five foot sharkand some mackerel. I have never not caught fish with this outfit. I will never use another charter.

Overall, it was a great fishing trip! Captain Brad was highly knowledgeable and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a memorable experience. We explored various spots, including the Jetty and Galveston Bay, in search of a catch. Captain Brad’s expertise led us to a significant catch that created lasting memories for our group. I highly recommend booking with him.

Captain Pedro was great and the boat is pretty nice and big. We caught 3 bait fish and headed to the open ocean to catch bigger red fish.. but unfortunately we all got very seasick and had to change plans. Still managed to catch 5 trout which he cleaned and cut for us. Thank you for a nice experience although we wish it was longer and we caught a bigger fish!
