Wow. Simply wow.  Family of six. Ages 19 to 53. Everyone caught fish, nice redfish and a variety of others that we threw back.
Enjoyed watching the dolphins swimming with us as we fished as well.
Captain Pedro stayed busy helping the those of us with less experience. He was amazing - on top of his game the entire trip - finding the fish when it was slow, bait, line issues, etc. perfect for a family.
We will be using Seaplay next time we are in Galveston!

We went on an afternoon shark hunt with captain Pedro and would highly recommend. It was two adults and 2 boys (age 10) and the boys were the ones who we really booked this for. Pedro was awesome with the boys took the time to explain things to them as well as helped them especially real in the big ones and yet the kids still felt like they did it all themselves and were very proud as we took home 2- 6ft sharks (Capt Pedro gave us the option to keep them or to keep fishing but we chose to keep each of the boys sharks) which filled up the cooler! We started the trip with a quick but smooth trip to a hot spot of sand trout, Pedro had the lines all ready and all 4 of us couldn’t even drop the lines to the bottom before we were hooked up with a catch! We each caught multiple back to back for live bait. After that we took a further ride out to a spot where it felt like almost instantly we were seeing the sharks. Within 30 mins maybe even less we were hooked up with the first big shark and boy did they put up a fight! We hooked up a few big ones and were amazed at the spinners and how they would jump 4-5 ft out of the water to try and break off the lines! Pedro helped make sure that both boys put in the work and tired themselves out but still had enough help and could call the catch their own. Both of us parents helped some and got some great pictures and videos of the catches. It was an exciting and a thrill for sure and afterwards Pedro cleaned them up and made sure we left with tons of shark meat for multiple meals!! Overall it was well worth it and the kids have stories for a lifetime while the adults made memories and also were taught a lot about the fishing and the difference in sharks and how the catching regulations for each of them. Definitely recommend and might have to book again on our next trip down to Galveston in search of even a bigger one!! Thanks Capt Pedro for the awesome time and everything you did to make the trip enjoyable for us and the boys they haven’t stopped talking about it since!

We booked the 8hr trip with Capt Brad and from the moment we got on his boat he made us feel welcomed and made the trip very memorable. We started off by catching our own bait which I think it was a fun way to warm up and get things going, also something I haven’t done on other charters and this was a nice touch. It was fun competing against those dolphins. Once we filled the live well we took off to our first spot. Wasn’t long enough before we hooked on some SandBar Sharks, about 6-7 of them to be exact! We went on to the second spot where we caught some trout, sheepshead, and hardheads. We then moved on to a different spot where we hooked a nice sized sting ray! Even with all this action Capt Brad wasn’t happy just yet, he was determined to put us on some more sharks and that’s just what he did. He took us to a spot where we quickly hooked on two shark tips to end the day! He cleaned and bagged our fish! We will definitely be back with SeaPlay and Captain Brad. Thank you

We had a great 6hr afternoon trip! Captain Pedro was awesome. He knew exactly where to be so we could catch bait fish for shark fishing later. Then we headed to a spot to target speckled trout. Weather was blowing in and the bite got hot for a few minutes, then shut off. Pedro took us to another location and we absolutely hammered them! We filled our limit quickly, and for the last trout my son and I both had fish on at the same time. Pedro netted them both in one scoop! High fives all around! Mine was actually OVER the slot limit, so a quick photo and turned her back to the water. After hitting the limit we cut up bait and started drifting for sharks. My son brought in a small spinner and a sandbar shark, both of which went back in the water. Pedro really wanted to get us a big blacktip. We finally hooked one, but he jumped, spun, and cut the leader! We weren’t able to get a shark to keep, but Pedro fileted our trout and we had plenty of fish for a great family meal. 10/10 would recommend.

I booked this for my brother’s “guy trip” and a couple of them have bay and deep sea fished before and a couple have never been on a trip like this. EVERYONE loved it and wanted to come back and do it again. They specifically mentioned how great Pedro was an that they wante to book with him again! Thank you for giving them a trip full of memories and some fish too!
