From the time we got on the boat to the time we got off, Ryan was really personable, patient and accommodating. During our trip he made sure that we always had fresh bait out in the water. He was re hooking or retying our gear in LITERALLY under 30 seconds, maximizing our time out there on the water. He is very familiar with the area and is super knowledgeable. He hooked us on some keepers. We landed some catfish, trout, ladyfish and a needle fish. Overall he made our first time inshore saltwater fishing such a fun and memorable experience. Whenever we come back to Destin we will definitely be reaching out to him for a second trip. I can’t recommend him enough. If you are thinking about booking with Ryan, DO IT. 5 adults and 1 child out for 3 hours of shallow water fishing. Capt. Ryan was on time, pickup location was easily accessed, boat had plenty of room, and after a short jaunt we were immediately on the fish. Ryan worked the entire boat with 6 lines in the water at a time. Our hooks were freshly baited and in the water for most of the trip. Speckled trout, hardhead catfish and lady fish were hitting hard. Ryan’s knowledge of the local landscape was informative and he had a great attitude when we tangled lines a few times—especially with fish on the hooks. Thank you for a great time. Highly recommend!
