Capt. Taylor and Mate Drew definitely knew what they were doing. Conditions not quite smooth as silk and they handled the situation with aplomb. Out of the inlet we hit a large Spanish mackerel right off the bat. Later with five lines out the three of us were kept busy reeling in drums, king and Spanish mackerel, big blues, amber jack and albacores. It was a very rewarding experience and a great day of fishing. This was our second trip captain Taylor. A great bonding experience to have with my nephews. Thank you for another wonderful trip.

We did a half day (4 hour) trip offshore and caught a decent number of (13) Spanish mackerel and bluefish.ย We also saw several pods of dolphins, which was great.ย Captain Taylor and Drew were great!ย They made sure we had a good trip, cleaned our catch, and were personable throughout the trip.

They are both very friendly and great with kids, They were very knowledgeable and were true โ masters of their craftโ.ย Drew always was maintaining the poles and taking our fish off while talking to us and telling us about what he was doing and why he was doing it. Captain Taylor was driving and finding all the fish. We ended up with a total of 54 fish which they cleaned and packaged for us. Best fishing charter Iโve been on. Taylor and Drew are amazing! The knowledge they both have and how freely they are willing to share that knowledge and teach is awesome! These guys are the real deal! Localโs that know the ocean and the marshes like the back of their hands! They know ever fish and what you need to do to pull in the big ones! The boat even has a bathroom and not 1 but 2 fish fighting chairs! And let me tell you when youโre fighting a big Amber Jack (aka the donkey of the see) the fighting chairโs makes a world of difference! I feel like I have made life long friends and will only use them from now on for my fishing trips!

My 2 grandchildren had a great time fishing during the 6 to 10 a.m. session. They caught a good number of Spanish Mackerel and Blues. Captain Taylor and Mate Drew provided excellent help and taught the kids a lot about fishing on the ocean. We took the fish home with us and made excellent fish tacos for dinner. I highly recommend South End Adventures for your fishing adventures.
