Captain Santiago is very nice and a right good captain, too!  The trip was on time/prompt and ready to-go and the equipment (rods, bait) seemed well suited.  We went about 2 to 3 miles off shore for the night (8pm to 12am) trip (beverages were provided and very appreciated).  We had hoped to see sharks but did not see any - although we saw a dolphin.  Capt. ‘Santi’ is very friendly and was very relatable to our sons -all college age, and you can tell he loves his job.  Anytime you can be on the water with your kids, at night or in the day, and regardless of how many fish you catch, it’s a great experience.

We had great weather and conditions and the boat was a smooth ride. My wife and I brought our 11 and 14 yo boys out and I told our captain Santi they wanted some excitement. We caught lots of Mangrove Snapper but the hunt was on for Snook and Santi was determined to help us land one. We took the boat all the way into the Marco mangroves. By the end of the trip he made it happen and one of my boys finally caught one! Along the way he was very good at teaching my boys better casting techniques and they started to get a lot better at it. Great day on the water!

I contacted them the night before and they quickly replied within 15 minutes. I even asked if we could meet at a different location to avoid traffic and they happily accommodated the request with no additional charge. We arrived 15 minutes early and captain Santiago was already ready to go. He was polite, professional, and seemed rather knowledgeable about fishing and the area. When we would change locations we often caught fish within seconds of putting our line in the water.

Overall it was a good experience and I would consider booking with them again.

My son and I booked a trip with Captain Santiago to do some estuary fishing.  We had a great day.  Captain Santiago is a hard working well spoken young man.  I had a fantastic time.  We pulled in all sorts of fish and even managed to bring a few home with us.  We usually catch and release, but we got luck and snagged a few Reds and Sheepshead. If you are looking for someone to teach you the basics of brackish water or if you are an advanced fisherman, Santiago is your guy.  He really has saltwater in his veins, he knew a bunch of local spots where we caught a bunch and it didn’t feel like we were fishing on top of other anglers. It was just a really nice peaceful day out on the water. Santiago’s boat is in pristine shape and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in keeping it that way. When we said good bye at the dock my son and I felt like we had made a friend for life and I guarantee we will be fishing with him again soon.
