We brought along our 3 year old which was an experience in itself. Captain Pete was patient and understanding as we navigated fishing and entertaining a little one. We were able to catch a wide variety of fish and bring home a great amount to eat. Captain Pete was attentive, knowledgeable, and a joy to chat with during our charter. We would highly recommend Playin’ Hookey Fishing Charters and are looking forward to our next trip out on the water with Captain Pete.

We took our 7 and 10 year old on a 4 hour fishing trip with Captain Pete. We started the trip watching a bunch of dolphins play close to shore and later we saw a giant sea turtle. My daughter said that alone made the trip over the top! We caught a ton of fish and Captain Pete was great with our kids. I had very high expectations for Capt. Pete and Playin’ Hookie. He was not only an excellent guide, but he took care of every detail. We caught far more fish than we were hoping to catch. He is very professional, throwing back many fish that “might have squeaked by in length” with other captains. That was much appreciated. He is also a great guy, and we had fun conversation while we were catching fish.  We will definitely fish with him again.

We had a great first trip, unfortunately my son got too motion sick to continue so Captain Pete took the 2 of us back to dock and my husband and daughter went back out. They caught lots of fish and had a great time. Thanks to Capt Pete for graciously taking the time to bring a sick kid back. We would definitely love to do this again and remember Dramamine before hand next time.

We had a great time and caught a lot of fish! Some Mangrove Snapper , a few sheepshead and a bunch of grunts.  The captain was very nice and tool very good care of us. I would recomend this boat.
