Joe is very knowledgable at catching walleyes. we ran planer boards and crankbaits. we released several large walles along with keeping a limit of eating size walleyes. we thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Joe and would highly reccomend him for anyone who is looking to book an enjoyable walleye fishing trip.

Joe took us on a great trip! He was very accommodating and communicated with us to be sure we knew where and when to link up. He really put on a great day for us and was ready to keep switching tactics based on the fishing conditions. Top notch guide and I look forward to my next outing with him!

What a way to spend the day!

Our Captain and fishing guide, Joe, was so professional, punctual and educational, we were blown away!  Just the nicest guy you could ever meet. Very knowledgeable about fishing, explaining to our boys how to identify each type of fish we caught, showing us how to hold the fish safely. He took us to several spots on the Mississippi and Lake Peppin to make sure we caught fish.  When it was all done Joe joyfully offered to clean and bag the walleye we caught. Sometimes guides offer this service but then when you ask them to they give a heavy sigh and their body language tells you they do not want to, or they tell you that is an additional cost—- Not the case w/Joe. He was so pleasant and happy to do so and it was included in the experience package. 

Starting out at 6:30am seems early—but if we did it again I would ask to meet up to get on the boat by 5:45am.  The number of fisherman out there by 6/6:15am was already getting packed. Our family will definitely use this fishing service again!
