Captain Mike was professional, well equipped and had a lot of local knowledge of his fishery. We started by getting some live bait to fish with, always a plus. He found the bait fast. We headed out and we hooked up with some large fish within less than 30 min. We landed 7 big Kings in less than 2 hrs and we saw some birds working. We headed over to the birds and it was little tunas busting all over. We threw everything at these little tuna for 2 hours minus the kitchen sink, they were just moving fast and not hitting anything we threw at them. We had non stop action and the Captain used many different types of lures, live baits and techniques. The other Captains were on the radio and were not catching any fish because they didnt have any live bait. We headed over to share our bait later on. Captain Mike was a solid guy and great Captain/fisherman. We had previously booked with another Captain and looked like he wanted to take us for a boat ride vs fishing. Our family are avid fishermen and women. We were a party of 6 and the other Captain was a little put off by my question son how and what we were going to for. He was honest and at least told us look my charter is not for you. Finding Captain Mike was a blessing his boat altos accommodated 6 adults comfortably and he did bring 2 bean bag chairs for our added comfort. Just an all around great experience and we ate our catch right at the restaurant at the dock after he filleted the fish. Looking forward to booking with Captain Mike again!

Trip went really well and everyone had a chance to get at least 1 big fish on board. A couple of our group went on a similar trip recently on a different charter and said they had so much more fun with Captain Michael. My 7 year old son had a blast, and Captain Michael Adkins made sure he had a job to do and kept him busy the whole trip. He got to real in a barracuda and a small shark and will be telling that story forever! Great experience and would book again next time we are in the area!

We did a shark trip. 2 adults 13,12, and 5 year old. Not only was Capt. Mike great with the kids I think he answered my 5 year olds 10,000 questions. Older kids said it was better than Disney! Awesome time would do it again and again. Great day!

Captain Mike was great.  He knew the waters and where to find the fish we were looking for.  From leaving the port to returning back, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to our group of five.  He put us in the best place to catch some fish, and we didn’t wait long to start reeling them in.  Highly recommend.

Captain Mike showed us a great time. He got us on fish right away and didn’t hesitate to shift gears to get our teenage boys onto a couple a sharks. That was a dream come true for them.
Very knowledgeable, easy to talk to talk to. Always willing to answer questions leading up to the trip. Definitely will be booking another trip with him.
