Ron was phenomenal! We picked a rough day, post front to chase walleye. Not only did he put us on a lot of fish, good eaters too. Learned so much as a hobby walleye fisherman! From reading electronics, maps, different presentations, gear and more; along with the why and how behind everything. Super humble and a no secrets guide!!

We applied the same principals and tactics that evening and next day staying on fish. Ron followed up with us, to make sure things were going well, still offering his time and tips, find that in any other guide!

Ive been on multiple guided fishing trips from Alaska to Mexico and i can say, hands down, no one works harder to get you on fish than Captain Ron Lowery! Not only did Captain Ron work his butt off to ensure we had every possible opportunity to catch and land fish a lot of fish, his love of fishing and his ability to share and impart his extensive knowledge of the targeted species was something i wasnt used to from a fishing guide, but thoroughly enjoyed! Ron was also very well equipped from his boat, to motors, to electronics, to poles and tackle…he was truly sporting the best of the best and it showed based on how successful the four of us were!  He was also extremely personable and had a great sense of humor! If you’re targeting walleye, Ron Lowery is your man!! Growing up in Northern Minnesota i pretty much thought i knew almost all there was to know about walleye and their habits…it wasnt until i spent just a few hours with Captain Ron that i realized how little i truly knew! My grandson and I were in Denver visiting family and for vacation, and we were lucky enough where Ron Lowry was available to book a guide lake fishing trip on his boat when we were in town. Ron is a professional fisherman where his years of knowledge, experience, and passion for the outdoors/fishing clearly show. Since my grandson has more the passion for fishing, Ron educated and coached him where he learned a ton in a few hours, not to mention catching countless Walleye fish (and a Bass) during our time. My grandson fully enjoyed the day. He had never caught Walleye before, so he was happy about catching the new species. Ron had all the equipment, used all kinds of techniques and different spots on the lake to give us our best shot at catching a big keeper to take home to the family. Also, Ron’s Kids Fish Free pricing was an exceptional value for the day - especially when this trip was for my grandson’s 14th birthday! We highly recommend Ron Lowry!

My buddy Brandon and I decided to take a trip with Ron Lowry on the evening of 3/30/23. It was a rough night, weather wise, but NOT rough fishing. We ended up landing 30 fish so not a big numbers night, but we limited out! Ron’s boat is equipped well for bad weather with the Wave Pro seats that take choppy water like no other. The gear was top notch gear, from rods to baits. I would highly recommend a trip with Ron. He will keep you entertained and will also use every opportunity to teach you how to fish and what to look for while fishing for walleye!
