JR and Brad were both wonderful and put on the fish at every stop. Our group ranged from first timers to experienced anglers and everyone had a great time. The boat and equipment were top notch and Brad even took the time to learn each of us by name.  We highly recommend them looking for a fun time out on the water.

Captain and Mate did a great job moving spot to spot to get us on fish and away from the Dolphin thieves lol. Fishing was sparse due to cold snap so we were reduced to drift fishing. Caught a few triggers and a bunch of vermillion snapper. When we returned to the docks no other boat did any better from what they were cleaning as well. They did the best they could considering the conditions.

The Captain and first mate were very nice, social, and really made sure that we did not go home empty handed. We caught our limit very quickly. So we trolled on the way out And while coming back. It was fun from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

Great crew and great experience.  Crew made sure everyone caught fish and had a good time.  Boat was very accommodating for our group of 11 people.  Highly recommend using Southern Star for your next planned deep sea fishing trip.

We had a great time the captain and his crew were fantastic!! My Grandbaby had the time of his life! We caught fish and made memories for a lifetime. So glad we chose this chapter and we will be back for another great adventure!
