We booked a 4 hour trip, and it was nothing short of excellent!!  The captain took us out and stopped for some great bottom fishing, where we caught 9 red snapper.  The trolling was fun also.  The whole crew were helpful and friendly, and we will be booking with this again!!

I would highly recommend Southern Star Outfitters!  Gavin and Monkey were great today and made our family feel comfortable and at home. We caught some nice fish and everyone had a great time. If you aren’t booking with Southern Star Outfitters…you ain’t really fishing.

Southern Star was a great charter and our captain Gavin and Deckhand Monkey were the best. They put us on some fish and we hit our limit in 2-1/2 hours. They fileted everything when we got back and we all had a great time! Highly recommend Gavin and Monkey!

These guys worked hard and went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe/great trip. The weather was not in our favor, but definitely not their fault.  (So sorry two of us were sick the whole time) We were glad to see our son in laws experience it for the first time.  We hope to book in the future, when the water is calmer. We highly recommend these guys. We cooked the fish tonight, they were great.
