I’m going to start off by saying if you’re planning on taking this charter you 100% should!! He had us on the fish in maybe 10 minutes tops not only that but I had contacted the Capt on incredibly short notice for a trip less than 24 hours away and was lucky enough to get in. The reason I say you should take this charter is because of the captain! His knowledge of the water the patience the captain has to not only help you catch a fish but really teach you and show you how catch a fish that you’ve never caught before was amazing. He was incredibly attentive, caring, and uplifting when I lost the first couple of fish due to my own mess ups not his!! But man oh man did that pay off after I caught a 150lb Tarpon!! Take this charter if you can!!

My 8 year old son loves fishing as much as I do. He has caught countless Midwest freshwater fish and a number of saltwater species. He asked to catch a tarpon while we were in Luquillo so I said I’d see what we can do. Captain Paci has an excellent reputation and has been around forever so I booked him. He put us on fish all day and coached my son through the finer points of landing one. He was an excellent captain and 100% professional. You can tell he has a nose for fish and a passion to land them! In between fighting the silver kings we got to chat and he is a heck of a guy too!  I could have chatted for hours but we kept getting interrupted by strikes! I will book him every time I’m back in PR and highly recommend to family and friend that visit! Amazing experience!

Captain and his gear was ready to go. Watched many others fishing and not having no luck and are Captain shined ! Put us on lots of hook ups and we landed a nice one !! This guy is the real deal !!! He will get you hooked up when others can’t.

we booked the morning tour with francesco. started nice and early around 6:15. we caught 3 tarpons!! they were not the bigger ones but still it was a lot of fun. francesco is a great guide! very professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. if you are looking for tarpon fishing near san juan - book with francesco!!

Did the 4 hour inshore 12:30-4:30. Amazing instructor. Went over directions very thoroughly and how to control the rod for the Tarpon. Got a lot of bites and the fish were definitely active today. Only caught 4-5 fish but man were they some huge Silver Kings. Had a nice talk with Paco the whole trip about fishing and the Tarpon themselves. Definitely recommend this charter if you want to get in some big deal battles and fun fights with the fish.
