Was warned that because of the tides the conditions could be โtoughโ.ย We had good weather in the morning with minimal wind.ย The targeted species was Halibut and Stripers.ย The captain briefed us on how to set up our live bait and the best way to keep the fish โonโ once hooked.ย Very important since it was quite different from how it works on Halibut in the Puget Sound in Washington.ย The scenery in the Bay was great, the fishing conditions tough. That said, with a bit of โgrindingโ we caught a full limit of Halibut and some Stripers. Caught a nice 15lb Halibut and a beautiful big Striper. The captain and crew were great. Enjoyed the trip technically and socially. Would 100% fish with them again.
