We had a blast! We caught so many fish immediately on the beginning of our trip. We kept enough sea trout to have a family meal and released the rest. We caught a variety fish, including ladyfish, red drum, and snook. When we finished fishing the captain took us on a tour of the island. We even stopped at a sandbar to find sand dollars. The captain was very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to communicate with him and set up our fishing trip. I would recommend this fishing charter to anyone!

Jeff was a great captain with all the poles and bait a group of fishermen could ask for.  He was patient in teaching us all how to bait our hooks and the reeling approach to minimize lost fish.  He even fileted our fish afterward and offered his suggestions how best to cook the sheeps head we caught.  He’s a great resource about the island and offered up some fun facts along the way.  Between the 40+ fish we caught - it was a great time!

Had an absolutely fantastic day with Captain Leonard. Pick up location was easy to find and we were in the fish within 30 minutes. First part of the trip was in shore and caught Snook, Jack, a flounder and Pinfish which we used later. After the in shore fishing we headed just off the beach and got into a great school of Spanish Mackerel and Kings. We booked our half day fishing trip a week before our trip, We received text and email communications up to the scheduled date. Our Captain was Jeff and he was great! He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips and recommendations to improve our stay while visiting the area. Overall good experience. Captain was exceptionally good in dire circumstances-heavy fog leaving launch and very rough waters exiting the bay to the reef off Anna Maria Island. Captain really good in teaching technique, resulting in wife Mary landing numerous keepers, which ended up on our dining table that nigh. Unique experience with pelicans begging for our rejects off shore, and dolphins swooping in to steal our catch. Captain adapted and overcame, thus our successful day. Highly recommend... More
