My son and I, fishers from Florida, had a great time fishing with Captain Frenchy! We learned a lot about the differences between our waters, and really enjoyed his knowledge and the amazing scenery. He definitely leaned into our preferences, going fast for my teenager and letting me check out the cool fort. We caught our first speckled trout, a croacker, and a blue crab. It was really apparent that he was willing to work hard to find the fish (his ability to spot the fish was crazy!) and tailor the trip to what we would enjoy. We will definitely look him up next time weโre in NOLA. Thank you captain!

Captain Frenchy takes his work very seriously. He guided my 14-year-old daughter and me on a day when the odds were against us; the weather hadnโt set us up for success, and we knew it would be a tough outing. However, Frenchy has an expert eye for reading the water and put us on fish right away. When the action slowed, he worked tirelessly, moving us again and again while using every trick up his sleeve. While the fishing was challenging, we spent a beautiful morning in the gulf swamp seeing gators and wildlife. We truly enjoyed Captain Frenchyโs company, and he even gave us a great tip on where to grab fresh oysters on our way back to the city. All in all, it was money well spent. My son and I had the MOST WONDERFUL time wirb Captain Frenchy. it wasnt an ifeal fishing guy but he totally made things happen.
We truly had โthe one that got awayโ - he estimated it was close to a 30โ trout - got it up to the boat snd it slipped the hook.
But on the heels of that caugh some gorgeous large spotted trout. have been fishing for years and was amazed by how much Captain Frenchy knew and his skills in finding the fish even when they do t wsnt to be found. Book with him - you wont be disappointed!

We had so much fun with Captain Frenchy and learned so much! Conditions were not great and boats around us struggled to even hook up with catfish. Captain put us on fish and had the techniques to allowed us to hook up constantly. We caught almost our limit for two people in trout, 4 drum, and even 2 sheepโs head. It was an epic day of fishing and you wonโt be disappointed if you book with him. He knows the best spots, water quality, temps, wind direction, and even atmospheric pressure to put you on fish. I never realized there were so many bass in the brackish water. not the same at home FL. Fishing was tough but Frenchy got us on them. Bass, speckled trout, redfish, black drum was too short but we caught fish! Almost kept a sting ray but we released it. I highly recommend Captain Frenchy and if given the chance will be usimg his services again!
