We ( myself and my two brothers) did a 12 hour fishing trip with Captain Tony and his first mate on Hog Tide. The first mate worked extremely hard, baiting the lines, helping us unhooking the fish we reeled in and watching lines to be sure we knew when fish were on the lines. As novice off shore fishermen his help was much needed. We went about 10 miles off coast. We caught plenty of fish. 5 barracuda, 4 King Mackerel, and 5 trigger fish. We also caught few Bonitas, and lots of smaller fish which were not keepers, and a few others that were. The weather was a bit spotty, had some rain, I wish I had remembered rain gear. And I got a bit sea sick. We saw some dolphins and although dolphins are fun to see apparently they kept impolitely nibbling the bait. They were basically the first mate’s nemesis. But he took it gracefully even if he did flip them off after about the 10th time they ate our bait off the line 😂. We had a great time. I would do this again, but maybe take up my brothers on their offer of dramamine next time. Thank you both for a great day!!!

Captain Tony and mate Travis was knowledgeable and prepared, there was plenty of room to fish or stand to look at the open sea. There is a bathroom available and AC inside the cabin. I took my family, my wife and 4 teenagers. The boys really loved the experience even though they were sea sick. I would recommend motion sickness patch a day ahead of the trip for the kids, this was definitely a trip to remember. Highly recommend you book with them for a great experience. Captain even stop the boat midway so my wife could take pictures with the kids, “happy wife, happy life.” They help put bait on, help reeling in big fishes, good with the kids, and over all this trip was awesome.

I hindsight, I definitely would urge anyone to spend the extra few 100 and go for a longer trip it’s worth it. This trip was excellent, 1st mate was super knowledgeable all things fish related. Captain accommodated us by moving to different fishing spots during the entire trip to optimize our ability to catch fish ! We went for groceries not trophies and they didn’t disappoint! Boat was excellent lots of room. Gear work flawlessly all day. We will be booking with them again as soon as possible. Next time we’re going to choose the longer option though!

We had a great day fishing with Captain Tony and his First Mate Travis. We caught so many species of fish there’s too many to list, plus I likely can’t remember them all. Some include kingfish, blackfin tuna, mahi mahi, snapper varieties, amberjack, barracuda, and shark. My son also caught his biggest kingfish ever at just under 35 pounds. Travis was simply great at keeping everything going for everyone, and Captain Tony was really good at putting us on fish. Highly recommended.

Captain Tony and First Mate Tyler were absolutely amazing! We brought our 8 year old daughter for the first time to the ocean fishing and they were so amazing with her! They both were trying so hard to reel action in the entire time and just so good with her! We could. It have had a better experience and better crew to be with! They truly made it so enjoyable and comfortable!
