Captain Chris took us out at 6:30 am and we had a great day (fished till noon-ish) It was our first time really fishing and everything was ready and prepared for us. Our Captain was super knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and fishing - easy to talk to and easy going about everything. He was a very good boat driver as well! It was technically a “bad fishing day” but we went home with 2 Trout, 1 Whiting and (as you can see from the pic) a great fishing story! We will def book with them again for a fun, relaxing and eventful fishing trip.

Capt Tony booked us last minute New Years Eve when our previously booked charter canceled late at night! So glad it worked out that way though, my boys had the time of their lives and will be talking about this fishing trip for a while! Capt Tony and Marshall were great, the kids loved them and they definitely know how to find the fish, highly recommend.

What a great day!  Not the weather but the captain and fishing were great!  It rained on us part of the trip and our captain kept asking to make sure we were doing ok.  This trip was for my son who had never been ocean fishing and he loved it!  He brought in 2 huge red fish and a catfish while I caught the first fish which was a bluefish.  If you have a chance to book with Christian and this charter, don’t hesitate.  He’ll make sure you catch something and are satisfied!  A+++ good time!

My wife and I arrived at the dock this morning for a 21st wedding anniversary offshore 8hr trip and conditions weren’t that favorable. Upto 5’ seas and ALOT of wind!! Captain Tony gave us the option to cancel the trip or to just go check it out..we chose option #2!
Although conditions were poor, Captain Tony trolled us onto some nice Mackerel and some nice fighting Bonita. We all did our best to bottom fish afterwards but conditions were so rough it was very hard to stand and fish.
All in all, considering the conditions, Captain Tony and First Mate Brett gave their best to ensure us a happy trip, and that we did have! Brett was spot on with his fishing techniques and advice on how to hook em! Captain Tony did an excellent job putting us on some fish during harsh conditions and although not a record breaking trip, we did better than the other boats out there fishing!!
Thanks Tony and Brett for making it a great trip! We will be fishing again with you guys soon and I would recommend it to all! Your Hog Tide vessel is awesome and you keep it cleaned top notch level, and I can see the pride you guys take in your work. Keep it up fellas! See you soon!

6 out of 5 stars.  Captain and First Mate were both great.  Highly recommend.  Trolling we caught 2 Kingfish, 2 Bonito, 1 Red Snapper, and the highlight of the trip; a 72 Inch, 85 LB (est.) Sailfish.  Bottom fishing we caught 2 more Red Snapper and a 250 LB (est.) shark.  Also caught a couple others such as a blue runner and red eye.  We went home with over 20 LBS of Kingfish to eat.  Anyone who is looking for a true offshore experience book this charter.  You won’t be disappointed.
