Went out 5-9 pm in late July.  Capt Taylor informed us trout were in deeper depths due to water temps, and it may be slow.  We still decided to go out, and within 10 mins we had 7lb lake trout in the boat.  We ended up catching a couple 7lb’ers, 8lb and 9lb.  Tried for salmon after that but Taylor had already mentioned it was still a little early in season for them to show up in the bay.  Then even though he had no experience, Capt Taylor even tried bass fishing with my kids.  We didn’t catch anything, but just his willingness was appreciated.  We had kids of 10, 12, and 14 years old, and they enjoyed it.  We ended up ending our trip about an hour early cause we caught enough for us.  Would recommend using this outfit again if in the area.

My husband and son (8 years old) joined Captain Jerry on a half-day trip (11-3). They had a wonderful time. Captain Jerry was incredibly communicative with me. I called about a week before the charter to confirm the reservation and Captain Jerry notified me at that time that the fishing had been slow. He asked if we wanted to change the time of our charter as he had flexibility that day. He told me to call back the day before the charter and he would let me know if the fishing had improved. I spoke with Captain Jerry the day before the trip and he said fishing was still slow but that he was going to try a new/different spot to try and maximize the experience. He definitely delivered! My husband/son caught their quota for trout that day. We are so happy with our experience and we would highly recommend doing a charter with Captain Jerry!

Had an awesome morning with Captain Taylor! Got out early hooked up with a couple salmon right off the get go, then limited out on lake trout. Boat had more then enough room for my wife and I and two kids. Captain told us all about the line set ups, what to expect and made sure to get us on fish that even the kids could handle reeling in. We were very happy with our trip and our cooler full of fish. Thanks again, we will definitely be booking another trip in the future!

My husband and I surprised our kids with a fishing trip, their first ever on the “big water” and a charter they had no idea until Captain Taylor called and said he was on the boat and ready for us and their reactions to hearing that was priceless!!  Within an hour of our trip we had 3 hits, one laker in the boat & 2 salmon hits that didn’t hook. We had absolutely beautiful weather and the kids limited out on lakers and I also got 1. If you are looking for a fun time on the water this is the charter to go through Captain Taylor explained everything to the kids and answered any random questions my husband and I had, he was great and very well fitting for our family! We will definitely be using them again for another fun filled trip!
