Captain Ethan asked us if we were up to travel a little further to clear some storms in the area, and we were all for it. He knew exactly where to go to get us hooked up to 5 Mahi on a half day offshore trip!  A little rain, and a little rocky, but we were on the fish! Thanks for being so flexible and making this a successful and memorable trip!

Brought my son out with Seas the Day for his first charter trip and Captain Ethan was kind and encouraging. When my son started to get seasick, Ethan changed tactics. Whenever we got hooked up, he encouraged my son to take the rod and fight the fish. We’ll definitely fish with Seas the Day and captain Ethan again next year!

Captain Ethan was great, he was very knowledgeable and made sure to find the fish where they were biting. The rain storm did not detract from the fun. Our son had the best time and was already asking to go again the next day. Bonus, we found a pod of dolphins and Captain Ethan took the time to follow them for a bit so we could enjoy that experience as well. We will be booking with him again on our next vacation to OBX.

Great captain, friendly, knowledgeable, lots of hustle. Caught our limit in blue fish. Caught some Spanish mackerel. Caught enough to eat for dinner and home.

Ethan was very laid back while also being very flexible about our trip. Never felt rushed or unsafe or like “just another dumb tourist”. He put us on to plenty of blues, then hit some spanish and mahi. Highly recommend!
