Captain Ethan Ingle is an experienced competitive angler, who'll make sure your time on the water is put to good use.
You'll be fishing on their 28' Grady White offshore sportfishing boat, accommodating up to 6 anglers. The boat can develop some serious speed, getting you to the best spots in no time. There's a toilet on board for your convenience, as well as an icebox for any food or drinks you want to bring.
On full day trips, you'll make your way through the Pamlico Sound and Hatteras Inlet up to 25 miles to get to the fishing grounds. From May to late August you can target a wide variety of fish, including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Black/Yellowfin Tuna, Marlin and Sailfish. The crew has developed different techniques to suit anglers of all levels.
Inshore half-day trips typically last around 5 hours. Trip times vary depending on the tide. You can expect to catch a variety of fish, including Cobia, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black/Red Drum, Spanish mackerel, and Bluefish.
Clients range from absolute beginners to professional Bass fishermen and if you're into fly fishing, bring your fly rod and experience a battle of a lifetime. But remember, If trolling better suites your angling ability, that's also possible.

Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore on July 15, 2026 • 6 adultsCapt Ethan quickly found us some hungry blue fish. We all caught some and often had all rods hooked up at once. After the blues we changed it up and fished for shark. Each of my sons hooked into nice sized black tips which was thrilling. Capt Ethan was able to unhook and release them which provided for some nice pictures. Capt Ethan was very accommodating and friendly. Overall a very memorable day fishing on the Seas the Day. Would highly recommend this charter.

Half Day – Inshore/Nearshore on August 13, 2026 • 6 adultsThe bluefish were really active and Ethan did great keeping us on top of them. He put a few on the rod for us at first before we had him running around to unhook fish. Between three of us, we hit our limit within two hours. We puttered around see if anything else was biting and caught a few spanish mackerel before heading in. Overall it was an awesome experience. Ethan was a great guy, we will definitely be back next time we are in the outer banks.

We told him we wanted to make sure our daughter had a good time. He started us out in the sound because he thought the ocean might be too rough for us especially with a 7 year old on board. He heard shortly after we got started that it was calm enough for us to go out. She was a little scared going over the waves in the ocean, but he was doing his best to make it as smooth as possible. She was able to try to reel in a couple of blue, but they would bite the line or slip off. The blues gave us a good fight & were a lot of fun. On our way back he stopped at one more place in the sound to let our little girl try one more time. She finally was able to catch 2! She was very excited! I loved that he cared enough to make sure her first fishing trip was a success! I highly recommend Ethan!

Well, we didn’t do so great on the fishing, but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. But honestly, the highlight was that Capt. Ethan sympathized with us and took us to a sand island where we could snorkel, view sea life, and hunt for shells…the island was beautiful! And we had a blast! Recommend him 💯
we had a very slow day of fishing but Captain Ethan went above and beyond to keep changing things up until we got on the fish! Ethan was very knowledgeable and personable. We will be returning customers next time!
Ethan did an awesome job putting us where we needed to be to reel in a ton of fish 🤙🏼 and kept moving with the fish to make sure we had a good time! Highly recommend!
