Took a half day trip with Salt Shaker Charters and it was really fabulous.  Gorgeous day, calm seas and loads of fish!  Captain Dan put us right on the fish to start and kept finding them for the entire trip.  Boat was well equipped, more than enough room for 6, and they were super friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable.  They worked well with our group who included novices and more experienced.  Definitely would recommend and hope to come back for a future trip.

Great afternoon on the water with Dan and Tom on The Salt Shaker.  Family of 5 with 3 boys and we had a terrific time.  Caught 2 “slots” for keepers and 4 or 5 others including a blue.  Grilled up the Striper fillets one night and breaded them another night, filleted perfectly by Tom. Kids were wiped by the end but they loved it, great experience!  Very informative trip too, great explaining the boat, the area and process of hunting fish in the bay.  Thank you both!

Kudos for another great trip with captain Dan and First Mate Tom. 6 on board and all reeled in fish with a few blues and striper keepers. Morning started slow but Dan called an audible and found the hot spot as he always does. Can’t recommend enough and look forward to next year!

What an amazing experience fishing on the Saltshaker!  It was everything my family and I hoped for.  The Captain and crew were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.  My 2 boys (7 & 11) had so much fun.  We caught a lot of stripers!  We will definitely make this a yearly tradition.

We went on an afternoon 4 hour trip and we were catching Striped Bass pretty quickly once we were out in the bay. The captain knew just where to go to keep us reeling in fish. Our first mate Conner was right by our side and always ready to help and super knowledgeable.
