Once in a lifetime trip with Captain Kevin.

The trip started at 04:45 when Captain Kevin picked me up from my hotel. We arrived at his boat just before 05:00. We boarded the boat and the trio began, a short ride out to the first spot where we started jigging and trawling for tuna with the assistance of his crew. Not long after starting a few skipjack tuna were caught. This was within an hour of the trip starting.
We then spent some time trawling and caught more skipjack tuna, later on a we caught a couple of fellow fin tuna.
By early morning Captain Kevin informed myself we were now trying for mahi mahi, we pushed out into deeper water approx 1hr. From that point Captain Kevin located groups of sea birds to which he determined the best point to cast a line. We repeated this process over the next few hours catching 3 mahi mahi, of which this was my first.

A truly once in a lifetime experience, the crew under the supervision of Captain Kevin were faultless in assisting myself and knowledge of the waters.

If you’re after big game fishing, Captain Kevin is certainly the guy to go to. I would 100% recommend.

We had an incredible mornings fishing with Capt Kevin and his crew. We booked the trip for my dad’s birthday and he wasn’t disappointed! Capt Kevin messaged me several days before confirming everything and arranged our taxi. Conditions on the day were far from ideal; very stormy and rough, with rain showers hitting us on and off. However, Capt Kevin still managed to get us on the fish and we hooked three smallish yellow fin (~15-21 kg) fairly soon after casting out. After moving on to a new spot we hooked and landed a
67kg yellow fin! What a great experience. If we had time I would definitely go again and fish for some other species. Would highly recommend Capt Kevin and his crew! It’s clear they love fishing! The sun finally came out for the photos at the end.

We booked a fishing trip with Captain Kevin and his crew. What an amazing experience! Kevin picked us up at the hotel and took us to the boat. We set off immediately, and less than half an hour later, our first yellowfin tuna was on the boat. As soon as the fishing stopped, we moved to a different spot to maximize our catch. Kevin also went looking for my favorite fish and found it. I highly recommend Kevin and his crew.

Absolutely awesome day out on the water with Captain Kevin on Coeur de Lion! The trip was smooth from start to finish – pick-up was right on time, and the crew had everything dialed in. Kevin and his team were super professional, friendly, and clearly knew their stuff.

We had four solid hookups and landed two yellowfin tuna, both around 60kg. The boat was comfortable, and they kept us well-fed and refreshed with food and drinks on board. Can’t recommend this crew enough if you’re looking for a top-notch fishing experience. Will definitely be back!
