We had the most wonderful time with Marcelino, Christel and Robert.ย Our main goal was to get our 11 yr old on fish and they did JUST THAT!!! They were attentive and fun. Robert shared many tips and explained why/how it worked for the fish we were trying to catch.ย Nothing seemed like a bother and he included our son with many of his stories and details.ย Marcelino was quick to get us in the second chair as Robert helped the first fish on.ย Their excitement was contagious and genuine. Almost every hit had multiple fish on.ย The boat was clean and well taken care of.ย They provided plenty of water and a nice bathroom.ย If you like to fish, Sunrise Charters are a MUST!!!!

The captain and crew were great. Their equipment was prepared. The vessel was clean (to include the head) and organized. They were conversational but not too much to where it seemed forced. They allowed moments of quiet for my wife and I to just enjoy the time out on the water and appreciate the beautiful, yet slightly rough Aruba waters. We were offered the option to take home some filets of the caught fish but due to our plans for the rest of day we werenโt able keep them fresh so we regretfully had to decline. I would recommend them to anyone looking for fishing charter. The best thing to keep in mind is that catching fish is never a guarantee and isnโt the captain or crews fault as long as they are working and trying.

We only hooked up and landed one Wahoo, but the captain and mate worked incredibly hard to get on the fish. The mate was constantly changing lures/baits to try something new. Boat was nice with two fighting chairs and plenty of room to relax, and a bathroom. Would definitely fish with them again. Also easy walking distance from most of the hotels at Palm Beach.
We left the dock a few minutes early and had lines in the water less than 10 min later.
Side note, I almost brought my 4 year old, but glad I didnโt as the seas were a bit rougher than I expected. Totally fine, but could see kids not enjoying all the rocking. If youโre kids can handle the waves or you have an extra set of hands (I was solo) than theyโd probably be just fine.
Again great trip and highly recommend Sunrise!

My wife and I had one of our best fishing trips ever!!! Captain Marcelino and Robin put us on the fish. Robin is the hardest working guy that Iโve ever seen on a boat. The boat is setup perfectly and the equipment is top-notch. We had lines in the water within 5 minutes of leaving the dock.
We caught 7 big Blue Wahoos and 8 small Blackfin Tuna, along with a bonita and a small barracuda. We lost 4 other fish, with 3 of those being Blue Wahoo.
The fishing in Aruba isnโt for the faint of heart though. We were out in huge swells and the guys are pretty straight forward when you get a fish on the line, which is understandable. They are there to help you put fish in the boat. We highly recommend booking with this company.
The only suggestions I would have would be to maybe back the drag off a little bit when they see people struggling to reel the fish in. (My wife was only able to reel 2 or 3 in and I struggled reeling most of mine in.) The only other thing would be to maybe explain a few things before we start catching fish, ie which chair turns all the way, how to hold the line/rod while reeling, just because everybody does things their own way.

Day started strong, we got a Sailfish bite within the first 30 minutes, sadly it jumped and spit out the hook. We kept sailing, the crew kept working hard to get bites by changing lures and hoping for the next bite. The captain was chatting with other charters and it was a hard day for everyone. Then the action began, we started off by catching a few Bonitos and eventually we landed on some Mahi Mahi. We also caught a jack and a barracuda. The day wasnโt over yet, as we were heading back, something big hit the lure, we landed another Sailfish! This time it didnโt get unhooked and we eventually brought it near the boat for a nice healthy release. At the end of the day, we had caught 5 different species, it was fun times for everyone and I will not hesitate to book again next vacation.
