Capt Andy Cook was top notch. The day we went was forecast for heavy seas and all the other Capts. cancelled their trips. As i said it was forecast for heavy seas and Capt. Cook explained the conditions to us and it was our decision to go and he said it was his decision to turn back if he he thought it was unsafe. We went and it was rough out there but Capt Cook was more then able to handle the conditions. Now both of us are former navy and everything was handled in a safe/professional manner. Might have been a little uncomfortable with the seas, but it was worth it. Big tune are worth it. Capt. Cook put us on hot spots and we got two nice yellow fins 70lb+ and 80lb+. Filled each of our refrigerators and they taste great. would have been nice to have smooth seas, but you have to talk to the man upstairs for that. I highly recommend Capt Cook Charters to everyone. It was a great experience, and that comes from a couple 78 year old f*rts. Wish i could send pictures, but quite frankly i donโt know how. I might add that i am an amateur when it comes to fishing but Capt. Cook was a great teacher. I would recommend this trip for children, but not with the seas we had.

I am an avid fisherman and have been on many charters and even my own boat. This trip with Captain Andy Cook by far was the best experience my family has ever had together for big tuna. It was a rough water day, but Captain Andy still got us out to the fish within 2 hours. Although we were scheduled the day before Andy and his experience on the fish and catch suggested that we wait one more day for the better Yellowfin day, even though he was willing to take us on our scheduled day. We took his advice and went the next day and He was exactly right. By 1PM We limited out and wore ourselves out on big tuna and still had time to catch some big bottom fish. Fishing for the Yellowfin is kind of a tricky task, but the Captain and Deckhand were great at taking the time with my teens to show them how to land the big ones in the boat. At the end of the day we had caught not only the largest fish but also the most fish out of all other tuna boats that went out that day. Andyโs secret to the baiting worked very well and is what gave us the most catch of the day. What a trip !

We had a blast!! We had a full boat of guys ready to fight fish and Andy did just that we had fish peeling line off most all day caught big fish all day long. And Andy and his first mate did a awesome job of cleaning our fish when we got done. With out a doubt if u want action make sure u book with captain Andy and tell him u want Wahoo.
We have been on many fishing trips from Jamaica, Cabo, Florida, and Toledo bend. This was by far the best fishing trip and overall experience we have ever had. We limited out on snapper first thing. They put us on some tuna which was our goal and despite losing one and not getting it in the boat, we still can say we had the time of our lives. The captain and deckhand were accommodating, friendly, fun, and patient with some challenging guests.
