We had a great day on the water with Capt Butch!  Butch was extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoyed spending time with him on the water.  As for the fishing, we had a great day.  It was only 32 minutes into our morning and my 13 year old was pulling out a 10.7 lb bass…it was unreal watching the smile on his face as he brought in his best fish in his young fishing career.  I would highly recommend booking with these guys…you won’t be disappointed.  Thx again Butch - we will be back doing this again.  Thanks for a great day and for making this trip memorable for my 13 yr old.

Following several trips to Florida over the years we have always said we would try Bass fishing but never got round to it. This year we did some homework from home and booked the trip with AJ. leading up to the trip as AJ kept us informed and answered our questions via email which was great for us being new to bass fishing. On the day we met up and we’re on our way almost straight away. AJ run through all the basics and it wasn’t long before my son and I were into our first of 11 catches of the morning. We fished several locations and would probably have caught more if we had stuck to the live bait (wild shinners) but I was keen to try the artificial spinning/worm baits.

We can’t recommend AJ enough and we will definitely be booking up next year.

I went on this trip with my stepdad and brother in law, who have both been on guided trips before, but I hadn’t. We all had an absolute blast. AJ was very knowledgeable about baits and techniques, while maintaining a very relaxed atmosphere. He struck a good balance of staying out of the way and helping us when we needed it. AJ hooked every one of our shiners for us, quickly and properly. He also helped us land the 32 fish we caught, with about 6 being over 5 pounds.

Additionally, we ran into some bad weather in the morning before we left. AJ sat and talked with us at a table at the marina for about 2 hours. Once the weather cleared up, we took off and AJ still gave us our full half day.

AJ is very professional, knowledgeable, and fun. He went out of his way to make our trip fun and memorable, and we would all absolutely use his service again.

If you’re looking to catch big bass on a lake, AJ is the guy to go with. I’m writing this review as we’re sitting around telling our family stories about the incredible trip we had. It’ll be a great memory for a long time.

Cap’n AJ was very informative since the beginning of my reservation and was readily available to answer all of my questions and/or concerns about our day.
This was our first father and son bass fishing excursion on Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL and scheduled at 630am. My 17 year old called it an unGodly hour and will later learn to appreciate the sacrifice. Cap’n AJ was very prompt and we were on our way at our reservation time. A few minutes later we were on a fast and fun speed ride to our fishing site on the lake. The weather was perfect for us and with in the first few minutes of casting, we got a few catches. To save the long story, my son caught his biggest bass of six pounds, a 40 inch Gar and a Pickerel. He was super excited to be able to catch different varieties of fish on this trip. Including the previously mentioned, our day ended with 32 official catches. Plenty more hits were received and lost, but Cap’n AJ was there for my son and I to give us additional information on how to handle the fish testing our bait and what to look for. After four hours of chasin’ tail, Cap’n AJ asked us to wrap it up and reel the baits back to the boat. My son Yoshua was able to catch number 32 on the last rod.
After this magnificent experience, my son is already asking if we can reserve again before he goes off to college in August.
