Our morning fish with captain Kip was first class all the way, from start to finish!!! Kip put us on loads of fish and 90% of them were between 4-8 pounds both the boy and I caught our PB and we both lost a couple of giants, all we had to do was catch fish, Kip took care of the rest, lots of laughs, story’s and great hospitality, I recommend AJ’s fishing charters 110% for both novice and advanced fisherman, ask for captain Kip, top shelf all the way!!!!!!!

10/10 highly recommend! Had such an awesome day! A.J. Was very friendly and fun. We went on a 5 hour trip and enjoyed every second of it! The amount of fish we caught in that time was insane along with fish that none of us expected to catch during the trip! A.J. Guided us throughout the entire experience and made the journey feel very welcoming considering we are tourist. The boat was very nice with plenty of room for us all, the equipment was completely clean and ready for use, and if we didn’t know how to use something properly he showed us kindly without criticism! We laughed, told stories, enjoyed the ride and SLAYED THE FISH!  Will definitely be returning and requesting AJ as our captain again!

The experience we had with Captain Brent was very exciting, it worked out so well because he led us towards the morning hours rather than the afternoon. He certainly knew where to go to get fish. He’s apparently very experienced and knows his boat. He also knew the area in which to get the fish and knew everything about the poles and the bait you’ll need. The only thing that I would be aware of and would like to know prior to,  it wouldn’t have changed any part of the amazing experience, but it is that you pay for the bait after the trip. Again it wouldn’t changed the great experience that we had.

We used 3 dozen shiners and they ran out in about an hour bc so many fish were biting! Switched to artificials and the bite was a bit harder to get but we still caught about 5-6 more fish. The live bait is the way to go for sure. I would recommend 5 dozen for a half day for 2 people. It was a great time and the captain was very cool. He seems quiet at first but once you start talking to him he is actually really cool and down to earth. You can tell he has a true passion for fishing and helping his clients get fish on. The way I can tell is that he’s actively looking and involved in our fishing experience instead of just being on the phone and not caring at all. Thanks again to captain Mike, his dad taught him well and we had a great time! Will be back soon for sure!

Booked a 5 hour trip with captain Jonathan. Was told to purchase 5 dozen live bait. Our 5 hour trip was about half of that in total fishing time to our surprise! Let me clarify on that. It wasn’t because of anything the captain did except for putting us on the fish right away! Was blown away with how 5 dozen live bait went by so fast but with that being said we caught 20 or so fish each! I highly recommend Jonathan for your guide! He was patient and mindful of giving us techniques to help better our performance and overall experience! That’s the good now the only thing I would say is bad (and it really wasn’t that bad) is that we would have definitely paid for more bait knowing now how fast it went. I would also recommend doing research in a combo trip for 5 hours so when you run out of bait you can switch over to artificial baits! Overall highly recommend and was a great time out on the water and catching our personal bests in a matter of a couple hours.
