If you want to catch fish go to the marina about noon and watch the boats come in .  See what and who caught fish .  Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions about where they are going and what bait they are using .  We went fishing for Wahoo.  Nothing caught. It’s fishing.  Only to find out when we got back we needed to have a live bait called chee willy . When I asked my captain later that day he didn’t seem to know this. But the guys that caught fish did .  Have fun and a great time fishing !

Just.. okay. Caught one fish within first 30 minutes and then 4 and a half long hours. Was just the captain and us 2 on the boat which didn’t add much to the overall entertainment.

He tells you he can take you for the tuna which was a deal breaker for me if he couldn’t. He took our money gave us a captain that all he knew was how to start the boat drive the boat and tie a fishing knot. Did not have any lures except one. He got lots of bait but never used more than three sardines the whole trip. After we paid and we’re headed out to see the captain said he wouldn’t go to the tuna that it was too far. We had also asked to fish off the bottom. He did not want to fish off the bottom so we did not get to. Luckily I brought some lures of my own and I got him to tie them on and put them out but he trolled so slow that the action was not good on the lures he trolled like he was fishing with live bait. We had booked two 8-hour days and on the first day we got fed up with the captain and we were back in at 11:00 the owner promised for the next day we could go bottom fishing first then we could go out for the tuna. The next day different captain who was better but he said we can’t go to where the tuna is the boat doesn’t have enough capacity of fuel to get there. At least this one knew a little bit about how to fish. But when the bite turned off we wanted to fish off the bottom for sea bass, grouper, snapper and he took us to where we could fish off the bottom but they had no weights to get there. Then the owner promised he would vacuum seal our fish and what happened was he kept it overnight in his freezer and when we met with him to collect our fish he gave us somebody else’s fish that hadn’t been bled properly and the meat was all dark and full of blood. I had to insist and remind the captain the second day to cut the gills on our fish so they would be let out and not taint the meat. The first captain I had to tell him to do it several times and he acted like he was upset because I wanted him to cut the gills. So they don’t know how to treat your catch so that it’s nice table Fish. And if you let him keep your fish to vacuum seal it you won’t get the fish you caught back. Ours were small fish and we got back larger pieces and I had asked for packages of 1 lb each I got packages of two to two and a half pounds which I only had 15 lb of fish total for the two days and I ended up getting really ugly dark meat that I’m sure when I try to eat it is going to taste so strong I won’t be able to. They will tell you anything you want to hear and take your money before you leave the dock where everything changes once you’re out on the water. Not once but twice I explained very clearly I wanted to do bottom fishing and I wanted to go to tuna the owner said no problem and guaranteed we would at least get to do both tuna and bottom fishing the second day and didn’t really care when we came back and told him you didn’t give him any weights for us to fish on the bottom and you didn’t have enough fuel capacity in your boat to ever get to the tuna but yet you promised us to go for tuna. He responded well, that tuna are too far out right now. If he was honest he would have told us that to begin with we would have found a boat that could get there instead of spending $700 to ride around in a boat catching 4 lb dorados when we did catch one. Do not believe them with anything they promise you and definitely don’t waste your money on going fishing with them. I will never book a trip with this company again.
