Three and a half hours without a bite. Maybe the morning would have been better. Saw whales but no fish. Not a great time.

We were on an afternoon trip, 2!21/22 with no introduction to Captain, what was his name? Two minutes out, rough water, where are the life jackets? Captain does not know! I asked him to go back to dock for them, he eventually found them! 30 minutes of high rough water and high swells out to the Point to fish, as we are holding on for our lives, we arrive, Captain rigs lines and we cannot even leave seat it is so rough!! After 1/2 hour of bouncing around, I told Captain to return us to dock. He did that and that is the only good thing about the trip, he knew we were very nervous and did his best to deliver us safely back. It took an hour to return in the swells of rough water. Our 5 hour fishing trip, was a 2 and a half hour thrill ride we were not happy about! No boats of that size should have been allowed to take inexperienced boaters on that kind of situation especially with a Captain who knew nothing about the 23 foot boat!!! Also at $260 USD we were not given any water or soda as promised or chips (that is minor) but with a look in the cooler, there were disgusting bottles rolling around that no one would drink that I know of!! Do not use Daliken Sportfishing in Cabo!!!

Hello Ruth.ย To begin with, I like to be Cortez when I answering my clientsโ comments when they are negative comments.ย But yours I really have to answer properly and it is no offense to you.ย The captainโs name is Hector and we always mention it to our clients before they go fishing!ย 1) The boat also has all the security means for our clients, thatโs why we have the maritime safety certificate 2) the boat is not 23 feet!!ย Or did not realize that was what book!!ย It is 26 feet mako CC and they are very well known in the USA.ย 3) on board we always put soft drinks and chips (we buy the water at Costco!!) 4) the client who fishing the same day but in the morning left us a good comment and 5 stars and it was the same service we gave you and the same captain and same boat.
