Very friendly and knowledgeable captain and mate. Took very good care of us and put us straight on the fish. 4 hour morning trip caught 28 black bass keepers. I call that a successful trip! Thanks guys!

As a retired Captain myself, I found Captain Devin and his vessel Poacher a very accommodating choice for a great outing while we were on vacation in the area. I was very impressed with the boat and Captain Devin put us on fish quickly and left my grandkids with an experience that has left them hooked on fishing. He will be our go to boat in the future.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Devin finding the fish and first mate Spencer was on top of everything. Spencer was very helpful to my 74 year old mother as well as a 8 year old family member who was along. Even though we had some heavy rain during our trip we had a blast. Next fishing trip on the OBX will definitely be with poachers.

We family had an amazing day on a nearshore trip with Capt Devin!  He told us when we met him we were going for the big fish - sharks!  He did not disappoint!  We caught 2 hammerheads, a sharpnose and a giant 7ft sand tiger, plus a ginormous sting ray.  I highly recommend Poacher Sportfishing and we can’t wait to rebook for our next vacation.
