The objective of the day was to introduce my kids to salmon fishing while in Victoria for vacation. Objective was met. We had a fabulous morning on the water with Captain Travis. Great boat. Solid equipment. Knowledgeable Captain. Lots of fish (Spring salmon, Coho salmon and Rock fish). Eagles. Whales. Calm waters and great weather. All the makings of a memorable day of salmon fishing. We had so much fun. The captain was so helpful and tried his best to find good spot for fishing. We had two chinook salmon and eight crabs for our dinner at the end of our trip. I recommend wearing layers in this season and have some snacks.
My dad and I booked a last minute charter with Reel Life and it was a very fast and easy booking. The charter itself was great, our captain was very sociable and knowledgeable, the boat was beautiful and solid. We went out for a half day in the morning and even though we didnโt land any legal fish (none of other boats around landed a single fish either), we had a blast!

Captain Travis is super friendly and very knowledgeable. There were three of us and his boat was comfortable and well equipped. We had a great time fishing with him! Looking forward to next trip out with him!
