Great day of fishing.  The crew was exceptional

Didn’t see a lot of fish but the guys were great.

Day started off on a few low notes; took 25 minutes to get a license (not sure if possible but would be great if captain could arrange for these beforehand) and then we paid $20 to buy live bait for the boat which turned out to be dead bait (typically included in any charter cost).

Miguel and Manuel talked us through the different options of fishing for either Mahi or Striped Marlin & we elected to give Marlin a go. Boat ride was about 45 minutes west along the coast before we started fishing; quickly got into a school of Spanish Mackeral and spent the next hour boating 25 fish. Felt a bit like meat fishing as the gear was much too heavy for the 3/5 pound fish. Eventually headed offshore and trolled for two hours before heading back to the dock.

High note of the trip was the return to the marina where one of the local sea lions boarded the swim platform and begged for fish before being turned away.

For the money, it’s a great trip for the non-hardcore fisherman but if you have the means to spend a bit more, take out something a bit nicer.

We had an incredible time with Manuel and Miguel. They were spot on putting us on the fish we were after. It was a bucket list type day on the water. I would highly recommend using this charter on your trip to Cabo.

Couldn’t have been a better experience. A little rough waters but we were still able to boat 3 marlin, including a double. And to finish the day a beautiful Mahi. Highly recommend. Thank you, Manuel, Miguel, and Alejandro!!
