We caught a 9’ 11” blue marlin with in two hours of fishing great trip.
We had a great time. Wish we caught more but we did get a Marlin!
Captain and mate never gave up. Slow at first but also not the most favorable conditions. Overall good job and we caught skips, bonito, sierra, wahoo and striped marlin. Some we did not land but it’s fishing!
Couldn’t ask for a better trip. My 2 fellow fishing partners abandoned me. I fished solo. Boy are they sorry they did!
Awesome catch’s. 2 marlin, 3 Roosterfish, 3 skipjack tuna, 3 Bonita and 1 Jack creval!

The trip was fine and we did catch fish, among these 3 kinds: Trigger, Bonita and Skipjack. It was fine and fun for the boys, but IMO we spent way too long brining in Triggers, and not enough time going after better options. And also brought in way too many Skipjacks. The odd part for us based on what were used to is that the captain and his mate didn’t clean/prep our fish. We thought that would be part of their responsibility, incluiding what we paid and tipped for. Only when we docked did we notice a different person come to the boat with a garbage can on wheels and take our fish to a different part of the marina, where we were then told we had an additional cost to have the fish cleaned, depending on size of fish. Here also is where we realized we had too many fish, to which the captain said he would disperse amongst himself and his friends. It felt a bit off to us and wish this info would have been upfront, and explained as an additional cost. Also be prepared to pay for a daily fishing license on the dock ($20, most outfits don’t include that for some reason) and then strangely another $1 fee just to get on the dock, there are gate people there waiting for that fee too. Overall, fun trip and we also spotted whales, sharks, stingrays and sea lions, along with the cool coastline and going from Sea of Cortez to Pacific. But the unknown additional costs and cleaning part felt off.
