Communication with the reservation and captain had been great prior to the tripโparents, grandfather and 14-year-old son were truly excited to share the afternoon.. first time fir son on a private charter boat! We were visiting parents in Florida for Spring Breakโgot to boat 15 minutes early and the boat was not preparedโฆ then crew cancelled the fishing trip at 12:55pm!!! For a 1pm outingโฆ said the boat had a malfunctionโฆ we didnโt believe itโฆ no pre-calls, no noticeโand when we called the captain he was unaware the boat wasnโt going on the fishing trip eitherโฆ a big kerfuffle!!! Breakdowns do not discriminate with which trips they might affect or the amount of notice that the breakdown gives us and we are always concerned that safety is our number one priority. Had a young kid onboard super cute however very akward felt like it wasnโt our trip at all
We have chartered a lot of offshore fishing trips and this trip was just average. First mate worked hard and was trying to get us on the fish. Felt like not much effort to find the fish while trolling, and when we bottom fished, stayed I a non productive spot way to long. Captain needs to have a dependable โgo toโ spot to pull a few fish so you can bring something home to eat. Seems like other unproductive trips we been on, the captain had a dependable place on the chart to go. We still took good care of the team.

Our afternoon 1/2 day trip on May 9th was cancelled at noon the day of. I am waiting to get reimbursed for the deposit. We were going out fishing on my deceased sons 30th birthday as he loved to fish. So this was a total disappointment. I will not book through this site again. The least they could have done is find another boat/captain that could take us out on this very though day.
Very nice boat. The experience would have been even better with a more friendly and welcoming captain. Fortunately, the first mate was very nice.
thanks for fishibg with us Frank. I have to make an excuse for the captain. he was sick all day and I ran the morning trip because my son, the mate called me. but I made Dianne, the captain come run the afternoon trip because I had an appointment in Miami and he still was sick but ran it anyway
