Awesome experience! Captain Keith took us out salmon fishing and it was also like a sightseeing tour. We saw sealions, sea otters, a bald eagle and a bird sanctuary. We also caught the limit of salmon which was 3 a piece. We caught a combination of silver and pink salmon. Captain Keith was great and showed us the ropes as we are novice fisherman. My wife caught her first fish!  The weather was sunny and we had an awesome experience.

Keith was very professional and personable and good sense of humor. His boat is very up to date and safety compliant. He put us onto the halibut and some cod snuck in on the catch. My son was able to pull up an 81 pounder halibut. A very successful trip. Keith made it very easy to get the fish processed. I cannot say how much fun and a good experience we had. Highly recommend Fantasia charter out of Seward.

Captain Keith definitely has an abundant amount of knowledge about Seward & Resurrection Bay. My family and I had a great time sightseeing and reeling in some salmon. We all wish we had more time with Captain Keith in the bay exploring and fishing. I guess that just means we will have to book this adventure again during our next trip to Seward, AK!

Definitely fun experience. Was a little surprised that 5 of the 9 hour trip was the drive with only 4 hours to fish, not everyone was able to catch their limit, with one almost not getting a halibut at all till the last extended (can we have just 5 more minutes) seconds due to the 2.5 hour drive back pressing time. Captain washburn and the Overtime III were great however no other crew aboard left us helping a lot in order to get bait back in the water and caught fish in the boat, which was not expected with the hefty price of the trip. Overall success, just providing some awareness for expectations!

My friend and I booked a half day fishing expedition with Captain Keith.  This was our first time fishing and we approached the experience with a bit of trepedition, No need!!!!  We greeted Captain Keith at 6:30 a.m. and learned that this was a private charter - just myself and my friend - guaranteeing lots of personal attention and instruction.  We also learned that since we were fishing for salmon, we did not need to go too far out - just about five our 10 minutes - and thus the water was calm.  Captain Keith was calm and patient - the exact opposite of myself once the first fish bit! What an adrenaline rush!  Throughout the morning, Captian Keith observed us and gave us guidance on how to improve our fishing skills, and said “the fish have got to win sometimes” more than once, when we lost one.  He did not make us feel bad at all about our novice fishing status - and was extremely patient with us. We asked him tons of questions - not just about fishing but about life in Alaska and his personal journey.  Captian Keith has led a fascinating life! We ended up catching our maximum amount of fish - 6 silver salmon each - and continued fishing and caught another 5 for the captain. 17 fish in all that we caught and reeled in!!  Captain Keith arranged for our fish to be cleaned and showed us to the shipping facility We ended uo with 44 pounds of fish - enough to last us a year!!!  This was the #1 highlight of our Alaskan Adventure - and that’s saying a lot given how incredible Alaska is all around.  We will definitely be booking again with Captain Keith if we are ever lucky enough to be in Seward again. Thank you for a GREAT EXPERIENCE and wonderful memories.
