We recently took a trip on Big Marlin charters while we were in Punta Cana for a company trip. From the start when Christina picked us up and all the way through til the end of the fishing trip we had and excellent time! We did a 4 hour trip July 2024, it was hot and we felt like we weren’t going to catch anything. We spent 3 hours looking out the back of the boat just waiting for something to bite…. And in the 4th hour we finally got our first catch. By the end of the 4th hour we had caught 4 total. Thank goodness we were able to get some action that last hour!! Andy was great and kept me busy with some good conversation while we waited.

Got into fish pretty early ended up with a few nice barracuda and a number of mahi caught one big bull mahi probably 15lbs+! Boat was clean drinks and sandwiches provided captain was experienced deckhand was awesome overall great experience highly recommended!

We went on a full day and let me tell you what. This was the best fishing trip I’ve been on. The first mate was from the Ukraine and he was very knowledgeable. They let us get involved with baiting and being apart of the whole process.  

Enjoyed a beautiful day of sunshine and fishing with our captain Richard kept us on the fish all day and the 1st mate, Javier was the best I have had the chance to fish with. Javier was awesome and really made sure our day was awesome.  We caught 15 Mahi-Mahi and had a 40-50lb bull on the line for a while who put on a nice arial show before shaking the hook, we also had a Marlin come up and absolutely hammer a Mahi that was on the line, it took the Mahi in one explosive shot, definitely a cool...
