Capt. Brandon and his 1st mate Paul were OUTSTADING the entire trip! We were originally scheduled for an 8-hour trolling trip on a Saturday morning, but the weather wasnโt looking too great (high winds); Capt. Brandon was willing to go out Saturday, but recommended we postpone until the next morning and it was 100% the correct call. We caught a FULL cooler of red fish, mackerel, and a couple black-tip sharks! Additionally, we reeled in SO many Jack-fish, which were HUGE and fun to catch; however we released these because theyโre not the greatest to eat. As an added bonus saw multiple pods of dolphins! Paul filleted all the fish for us and there was plenty for all 6 of us to take home! The crew was engaging, fun to talk to, accommodating, and made sure we were having a great time! Thereโs not enough good things we can say about Shearwater Charters! 10/10, would go again!

ย ย Met some friends down in Biloxi and went fishing one day. We went out with Captain Brandon and Paul at Shearwater. They took us to a spot and put us on big redfish. I also got to catch a large jack Crevaille, which while a blast to land, are not good to eat. They are highly experienced and have fished the area their whole lives. Very comfortable boat to fish out of. We also got some Spanish mackerel on the way out and coming back in. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day on the water! Will definitely charter then again when we get back down to Biloxi. ๐๐๐

We debated booking a longer time on the water but the 4 hour trip was plenty for us. We caught our limit of Red Drum very fast. We pulled in a handful of mackerel and had another handful pull off the hook. We also caught several Jack, which were the hardest to real in, but are not edible. Between the five of us we each had a good amount of fish to bring home. We are hoping to make this an annual tradition after the good time we had. Iโm no good with names, but the captain and his first mate both did their jobs well.
