Both the captain and first mate know their stuff.  You know you have the right captain when every boat on the water attempts to follow him.  We started near shore for some mahi. Then ran into the beach for a shot at some blues.  Sure, the day and weather were perfect , but this crew took advantage of the fish biting.  It was non-stop reeling.  2 of us (boat can handle more) and we caught 127lbs of mahi, blues, and Spanish mackerel.  100% recommend!

The ocean was pretty rough the morning we went out, so we decided not to leave the sound. The first mate Gavin was great!  we have two adults and 4 children on this trip and he did great with them. Captain Duke did an awesome job keeping our rods in the water as long as possible everyone caught fish it was a great experience.

Captain Duke had a plan but heard about fish in a different area and switched course. Ended up catching a bunch right away. Landed fish throughout the charter (10 fish in total). The first mate Gavin was great. Showed us how to land the fish then let us take it from there. Gavin was informative, took all the pictures we asked, and even cleaned and bagged everything for us when we got back to the docks. All in all, the trip far exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend!

We chose the 11am fishing excursion with Captain Duke and his first mate, Dillon.  It was a beautiful day and Captain Duke explained that ribbon fish and Spanish mackerel were biting. We would be about three miles off shore. We reached our first destination in about 20 minutes and within seconds of throwing in the lines we were bringing in ribbon fish.  Dillon was busting his hump trying to keep up with the fish we were catching. As fast as we were bringing them in, there was a fish on another line. This went on for about 30 minutes and Captain Duke stated that we had caught 24 fish. We went to our second destination to troll for Spanish mackerel and after catching eight it was time to start heading back. We were entertained by Dillon telling us stories about his fishing livelihood and we visited with Captain Duke on the bridge. Both were very personable and considerate of our time and making sure that we were enjoying ourselves and having a nice time.  Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Knowledgeable captain and great 1st mate did an awesome job getting us on 3 different species—red drum, Spanish mackerel and moon fish.  Friendly and accommodating.  Boat was very nice as well with AC get to take a break from the sun.
