Donโt waste your money. We booked a 3/4 day charter because our son loves fishing. We drove in circles for 6 hours and only got 2 fish. We wouldโve had a third but the deck hands incorrectly tied the leader so the entire fish and leader came off. The boat was a total piece of shit and in disrepair (captain edgars boat is broken so itโs his friends boat. No idea if his boat is nicer but we didnโt get a discount for using this boat). โLunchโ is included. Soggy bologna sandwiches. If you do choose to book this charter- bring your own food.
Asked the captain if we could change something or try a different spot after not catching anything and he told me this is how fishing works. Which we understand - fishing is different than catching - but there were time when they didnโt even have 4 lines in the water.
Captain Edgar, who we booked with, wasnโt even the captain of the boat. Thankfully my husband speaks Spanish because the guys do not speak English well at all.
Best part of our trip was the transportation. A nice SUV and the chauffeur was extremely nice!ย

ย As i told your husband i did understand what he said in his critics when we spoke on the phone after your charter.
On our defense i did call you 2 days prior to our trip and said a repair needs to be done on my boat, that we cant go out, butโฆ that i have another boat a captain friend of mine can borrow it for us, and you said ok, so you guys went ahead with my crew and my gear out, only thing diffrent was the boat.
In regards to the fishing, when you choose a trip, that trip depends on what to do and what is biting at that time of the year. You went with a 6 hours trip, with that trip and been the season it was is wahoo season. It only gives us time to work the ledge and the canyon wich is 7 miles in front of the marina. You had success and caught a wahoo and then a barracuda. Wish you would have bites every 10 minutes but its fishing, thats why you stayed in that general area because is the only area that might produce bites. And i will trust 100% Manuel my captain and that he will do all in his power to get you to the best spot and biggest bite % area. He is a very good and responisble captain.
Also i do give your word merit and asked the deckhand why didnt put out 4 lines and he said there was seaweed scattered, Joan has been with me for 4 years and as you can see on my reviews people praise how he work his butt off.
I had to stay to recieve the part that was been fixed for my boat.
ย But in general thanks again for choosing me and sorry it didnt go the way you wanted i did give the option of accepting or refusing an alternate boat.

Not too happy. Rough weather but multiple boats returned. After full payment โin cashโ took off. Waves 8-10 rain. Came back no fish. $700 coke and water. Right thing to do is captains to cancel and just do a small fee. Donโt go in December, January or February.ย Too windy.
I wasnโt too impressed for the price. Apparently captain Edgar had some things to take care of around the house so we had someone else that barely spoke English as captain. The deck hands were nice but we didnโt land a single fish. We hooked one but the liter broke. The boat generator stopped working 30 min out of the marina so it was hotter than hell in the cabin. Also they never mentioned lunch, when it stated it was included. First time Iโve gotten sea sick on a charter, โI know weather wasnโt their faultโ .Not to mention it dumped rain as I paid the crew and was waiting for the captain to call Edgar and confirm that was the proper payment. Lol icing on the cake running to the taxi soaked with my wife.

In regards to your review i admit i couldnt go with you on your 4 hours trip. But instead of cancelling i left you with my trusted crew. And captain Manuel is actually the one who taught me how to fish 18 years ago. So he is the real deal and as you can see in previous reviews all my clients praise us!! Me, Manuel, Jose and Joan.
We just had yesterday a series of unfortunate events. Rainy weather, bad fishing and my absence.
And for that i will love if you give me a second chance to take you out fishing again and also give you a 20% discount on the next trip.
Also this time of year is Blue Marlin peak season and for that i need a full day extended trip because we got to travel around 35 miles to get there.
