End of December charter, weather was 60F, water temp 56F. Captain Perrin knew the areas well. We started out at the jetty, wind only 8mph but the waves were 5 footers there. We stopped at 3 diff spots that normally produced but could not get even one bite on the live shrimp. None of tge other boats out were getting much of anything either. Capt decided to get us back into the inlet and we tried about three spots but couldnโt get a thing to bite there either. none of the other boats were getting anything either as well. We still had 90 min and exit tide was at 50% so back out to the jetty. Capt Perrin picked a favorite spot and we started getting into the sheephead pretty regular. Looking around at a few other boats, they werent getting anything! We didnโt get into anything really big but we still kept catching fish all the way up to the time to leave. Looked like we were one of the lucky one considering how odd the fishing was that day. We enjoyed Capt Perrin and the conversations and stories. Looking forward to trying Murrells Inlet with Capt Perrin again in the future.

Captain Perrin Wood provided my son and I with an awesome experience on the water out of Murrells Inlet. He was very patient, personal, and just an overall great guy. We left early and came back late, which I know was a hassle for him because he had another trip right behind us on a very hot day, The most important thing is that we caught about 20 fish of different varieties, including keeper Redfish and Flounder to bring home for dinner for the family. Thanks Captain Perrin and keep up the awesome work!

Thank you so much for the kind words and time to leave a review! It was great meeting you both and canโt wait till next time my friend! Tight lines ๐ฃ
captain perrin was so great to me and my girlfriend! very friendly to, lots to talk about other than fishing which was nice. we didnโt catch many fish because the water was a bit rough and very windy so he gave us half our money back because of it. a lot of people donโt do that but he did! going back to fish with him in 2 days! canโt wait !
Thanks buddy! Looking forward to Friday!!
Captain Perrin was awesome! He left early and had us the fish immediately! Caught a 23โ Flounder right out of the gate! Had some nice keeper Trout and what he said was a first, red snapper! Then he put us on the sharks! We caught 4 sharks! Great day with the family and a great Captain! He is the only Captain we will charter with in the Myrtle Beach area!
Great time with your family Paul! That was the biggest flounder of the year on my boat along with the 1st red snapper! The time on the boat with yโall is why I love what I do! Thanks for sharing your experience in the boat and hope to have yโall back very soon!
Had an awesome day with Captain Woods. Even tho the fish gods were not smilingly upon us we still managed to hook a couple small rays. Never the less the professionalism and hospitality of the captain made the trip well worth it. Canโt wait to come back and give it another go. Thank you Capt. Woods.
I appreciate it! Weโre always under the mercy of the bite. Lots of rain, heat, heavy winds and ocean conditions have deteriorated the bite around here. I sure did have a great time with yโall and it wasnโt lack of effort yet lots of fun! Hope to see yโall back here in the near future buddy!
