Great trip and appreciated the communication, effort, and safety on the trip. I have fished all of my life and still plenty to learn.  Even during what appeared to be somewhat of an off-season, the guides were still able to find fish and opportunities as well.  Really appreciated Jose, his knowledge and willingness to adjust and accommodate both conditions and skill levels of each of us in the party.  Able to pick up a good jack and and what seemed to be a pretty decent Snook as well as seeing tarpon on the rise and lots of barracuda.  Great to experience overall and appreciate that where we were a little apprehensive trying somewhere new and outside of hotel arranged activities.  We stayed at the seadust, cost 1 dollar usd or so per person each way on the bus and same on the way back without complication.

We booked a morning excursion for three (only two teenage boys actually fished) and we were paired with Mauricio as our guide.  The boys wanted to try and get some tarpon.  Mauricio obliged and took us to a spot and there were a lot of tarpon swimming around.  The boys got some hits but unfortunately were not able to hook one.  We changed locations to try for some snook but ended up catching some barracudas. Throughout the trip Mauricio was patient with the boys and provided a lot of instruction to help them try and catch fish. The boys were a little disappointed they didn’t catch tarpon but they both said they had fun and enjoyed learning from Mauricio.  Would recommend to anyone visiting Cancun!

I’ve been Fly Fishing for over 30 years but have never had the opportunity to fish for tarpon. Not only was the guide extremely knowledgeable but taught me things that would’ve taken 10 years to learn in less than 20 minutes…. Not only did I land my first tarpon on a flyrod, but I had an amazing time learning about their backgrounds. Including where they were from, and what they love to do in their spare time. The fishing is amazing and I’ve never seen so many tarpon in my life. I will definitely be back to fish with Martin and his crew. I even blew out my flip-flop getting out of the cab, in front of his place and he gave me the glue to fix it. Talk about a standup guy…… Five stars for sure!!!!!

First time in Cancun. Directions to get to location were spot on. Showed up early, guide took us out early. Mauricio was great with my son and me. We are beginner to intermediate fisherman. We have a little experience lake and river fishing, but little with ocean fishing. Son caught barracuda, jack, and snook. Did an evening trip and brought about ten or so fish into the boat. Would fish with them again.

Did the 4 hour afternoon trip. Mauricio was our guide. He’s been working there for 20 years. He put us on the fish! We caught barracuda, snook, snapper, and yellow tail. It was an awesome experience that my son and I will not soon forget.
