Far too much of the trip was spent on non fishing activities.  There was a captain but no crew. we should not have had to waste an hour of our trip boating to a location , then catching bait.  Additionally we should not have had to wait while 5 fishing poles were set up with hooks and leaders.

I am by any means a negative person so please take this review how you will.

This is actually the 2nd time I’ve gone with this company. The first time (in July 2019) was phenomenal! Everything went as planned. Caught tons of fish and had a blast.

2nd time around **hidden content**) things were different. The night before our trip I contacted the captain to confirm we were still going. He replied back and asked where we were staying. I replied back with the name of place (mind you there’s only one on the island). He says he will be there 7:30am to pick me and my wife up.

Next morning we waited outside from 7:23-7:48 before I received a call from the Capt asking where we were and that he has been waiting for us. I kindly said we were outside waiting were he had asked us to. He then responds saying he didn’t see us and that he’s at (names a different resort).

So he went to the wrong one no big deal but I mentioned that I typed out the location with confirmation and he made the mistake of going to the wrong place. Ends up picking us up around 8:22 and on the boat around 8:40ish and fishing by 9.

Capt said he would make it up by giving more time on the water. (7:**hidden content**hr) we were on the water from (9-12:46 = 3 3/4hr).
We did not catch a single big fish besides 4 or so small bonito that the Capt kept (we don’t eat those).

Came in and the Capt still wanted full payment (which I understand as I have a small business myself but I would have handled it differently). The whole trip was just bad and I’m quite scarred from going on this charter again. (Side note the Capt wasn’t hillyboo it was another guy andy that hillyboo said would take us).

Cliff notes
- late pick up (wrong location even though we confirmed)
- Less time on water
- no fish but still charged full price even though they came late etc.

I’m not bashing the company at all but I feel like things could have been handled a lot differently. Please take this review with a grain of salt.

I had a great time with the captain and guide, however price is not worth the experience.
