I forgot to tell him that I didn’t know how to fly fish but he stopped and got some shrimp. But us around lot of bone fish large schools of snapper. Showed us a bunch of wild life and saw a group of nurse sharks. He spotted some Jack and had me fighting one within a few minutes. It was a great trip

We had a great time with Captain Nano.  Never fly fished salt water.  He taught me a lot about the difference between fly fishing fresh water and salt water.  Great guy, kowledgeble, great attitude and knows his business.  I would reccomend him to beginners or pros.  Equipment was all top notch.

I fished a full day with Captain Guerro. Most of the day we were on the back side of Ambergris on flats. He puts you on fish, and it was a full day. He knows all the water very well and can see fish I couldn’t.  I would without a doubt fish with him again. His boat was very clean and comfortable.

Captain Nano is a super all around guide for the flats.  He knows where the fish are.  Being my first bonefish experience, he taught me tips and techniques for those skittish critters, and we tore ‘em up.  Captain Nano prefers the finesse of hunting and attracting individual fish to the fly, versus spending a lot of time searching for large schools to target blind casting.  So his philosophy was a great match for my expectations.

This was my first time fly fishing flats/mangroves for bonefish, permit, and tarpon and I had a great time. Nano put us on fish immediately (happened to be a school of permit and one passed on my fly). His is extremely knowledgeable about Belize/San Pedro and a great fly fishing guide/teacher. We had some great conversation about tying flies and even traded some at the end of our second day.
