I got off Discovery Princess at 6:15 AM. Capt. Jody was waiting for me in the parking lot for a two minute drive to the marina. It was a glorious day on the water, sea lions, whales breeching, glaciers, snow capped mountains and constant Halibut and Cod! Capt. Darryl filleted the fish and guided us to where you ship your catch home! Both men paid particular attention to the 5 year old fisherman with an electric reel who went on to catch many fish in 300 to 400โ depths. Both captains treated the fisherman like family! Great guys! Outstanding day!

We went out with Captain Darryl and had a wonderful time. We went with family that we hadnโt seen in a long time. We had the boat to ourselves and 1/2 of us didnโt have a clue of what we were doing. The other 1/2 were experienced fishermen. Captain Darryl gave us new fishermen all the help we needed. And let the more experiences people just run with it, giving support when needed. We all brought in several fish. I would recommend Alaska Four Star Carters to anyone looking to have fun and get some fish. We also got to see whales, otters, sea lions and seals. I canโt thank them enough for all the great memories.

Sorry, this took so long. Went to Alaska the first week in August to fish Halibut with Alaska 4-Star Charters. Could not have picked a better crew!! Captain Jodi got us on fish right **hidden content**-Capitan Darryl gave us a demo on equipment and technique, then let us loose.ย After that, they spent their time coaching, teaching and making sure everyone caught fish and had fun.ย We caught Rockfish, Cod, Halibut and Salmon.ย I even hooked a big skate. Crew really made you feel like family, Captian put us right on the fish and made sure everyone had a great time and caught fish. We limited out on Halibut, and caught a handfull of great looking Cod. If Iโm in Whittier again I would use 4 Star

Captain Jody ans Capptain Daryl were outstanding!ย Happy to help and very patient with my 88 year old father.ย He had a blast pulling up fish!ย Been on many charters myself, theyโre the best.ย Iโll be back!
