The captain and his 2 man crew did an amazing job to make sure we were happy with our trip. And even though we were headed back after our allotted time with out a catch head went above and beyond and made a second loop just before entering the marina area because the marlins were jumping. We circled back around ended up catching 2 at the last minute one got out RF then hook we landed the other. The captain was generally concerned for our lack of fish in the end. I mentioning this because I have gone deep sea fishing many times and several of those time we have come up empty handed and it was like oh well better luck next time. But you could tell the captain wanted us to have a great experience with him and his crew. Very pleased. I saved this captain as a favorite on this website.

We asked the captain to help us search for tuna offshore, he did recommend to us marlin fishing closer to Cabo but since we went out the day before and connected w/ Marlin we wanted to connect with big tuna.  So we got bait and headed out 25 miles, trolled and searched and saw tuna 30-50 lb grade all day jumping out of the water, lots of dolphins, 4-5 football sized tuna (6-7lbs) landed.  Had one big tuna hooked but we broke off after a 5 min fight (hook broke, not straightened out, a first for me and captain too). Big ones were harder to hook, looks like they preferred kite flying fish bait (boat did not have but we saw other boats near us that were landing with that technique).  Wish I asked for a kite before the trip.  We also unexpectedly hooked up and landed on a 140 lb+ marlin to boot.  Fun day on the water!

Our Captain Edgar immediately notified us the original boat Wahoo 33’ was not available but hooked us up with Renato on the Reel Medicine 36’.  This boat bid not disappoint !!  Awesome crew and Captain Renato had my Wife fighting her first Marlin early morning.  My wife’s first Marlin was huge!!  Total of 7 Marlin for the day.  We caught 5 and lost 2.  This boat had plenty of room for us with bluetooth to listen to our favorite music while fighting fish. 

Hats off to Retano and crew !!  Feeding the sea lion at the end of our trip was a bonus!!  I would definitely book a full day !!

The crew was great with answering questions we had, yes they stayed on the top deck but that’s because they are doing the best they can to spot fish. But whenever we had any questions the deck hand would come down and answer our questions.
They did there best to accommodate us when we wanted to change the fishing style and species we wanted to target.
The sandwiches were great and more than enough food and drinks for the 8 hours!
Only complaint is the lack of left handed reels since they all were right handed but we didn’t ask if they had any left handed so they might have been able to accommodate with left handed reels if needed.
It was a SUPER slow day of fishing with us catching 8 tuna fish and getting a bite on a striped marlin. But with that being said only one boat caught a small Marlin that day and one other boat caught a Dorado, everyone else got skunked so I would have to say the crew was extremely experienced!

Was targeting striped marlin and we got it done! Very cool experience getting bait and leaving the marina. Caught a wahoo in the first 10 minutes. Then eventually fed a striped marlin that came in the spread. Mate and captain did a good job with making sure we got the release. Very cool. Highly recommend. Boat is comfortable. Diesel engines are loud but lounging was great.
