Fishing started off good with several strikes in rapid succession. Then the bite slowed significantly. But our captain was determined to put us back on fish, and that he did!  He kept us on the fish even though our trip clock was nearly expired and we would have a 30 min trip back to the docks.
I would book this boat and crew again in a heartbeat

Booked the trip for my 3 grandsons, 19 year old, 17 year old, and 15 year old.  They had the best time fishing!  Crew was excellent and professional or “cool as hell” as the grandsons put it.  They caught a few mahi-mahi (kept), a mackerel (kept), a baracuda (threw back) and blue runner (threw back).  The grandson that caught the baracuda— that made his day.  Sadly all the pictures they took were done on snapchat—an app that the pictures disappear into cyberspace never to be seen again so I can’t post any pictures.

Captain Rafael is all about “safety first”, which was a huge comfort to me.  It’s not about the money, it’s about a safe and memorable trip for fishermen.  There was a little storm that was passing when the boys were scheduled to go out.  I was a little nervous to let them go out in such bad weather.  Captain assured me that once they were a mile or so from land the weather looked fine (on radar) and they’d be safe and would have lots of fun.  He was right!  The weather was fine offshore and the boys (young men) had a great time!  They talked about it for hours after returning.  Thank you Captain for providing my grandsons a memory of a lifetime.  They LOVE to fish and this was their first deep sea fishing adventure.  They can’t wait to do another deep sea fishing trip!

Awesome fishing crew. Worked super hard to put us on the fish. They remind me of an old married couple but awesome time and great guys. We hope to come back and book them again. Ben is a great guy and you can tell he loves fishing and seeing others catch a dream!

Other than not catching fish everything else was awesome! You just never know if it’ll be a good day out or bad. Don’t come with an expectation that you’ll catch a bunch of fish. It’s just one of those days but it isn’t the captions or the crews fault. I would definitely love to come back to experience a good busy fish catching day!

We had a great time. Captain Pete And his mates Ben and Sebastian were excellent. Caught tons of fish. Great attitude and atmosphere board. Would recommend and definitely will go out again with them.
