  Great way to spend a quick Ketchikan stop

  4 Hour Trip – Salmon (AM) on July 28, 2026 • 4 adults

  We had just enough time at a Ketchikan cruise stop to get a four hour fishing trip in. Trent was very knowledgeable on where to find salmon and it was fun talking to him about his fishing experiences and the area. The boat was close to where we docked and he gave good instructions on how to get to his boat. We ended up keeping eight fish - not bad for about three hours of fishing (after travel time)!

  A great day on the water.

  5 Hour Trip – Halibut (AM) on June 12, 2026 • 4 adults

  Everyone caught at least one nice fish. We released a 60 pound halibut. Captain Trent was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The weather could not have been better. Truly a memorable experience.

  Great Day, caught limit on some nice halibut

  4 Hour Trip – Salmon (AM) on June 29, 2025 • 4 adults

  Folks, this was my 2nd trip fishing in Alaska, Capt Trent, his boat and equipment are first class. He was very easy to communicate with. I found everything was “AS ADVERTISED” He met my group at the pier and we were fishing within 45 minutes of arriving. Captain was a very knowledgeable and personable. He gave great advice and assistance. I had 2 new to deep water fishing and he had us on fish early, Really enjoyed the fishing banter and making a new “fisher friend” I HIGHLY recommend CAPT TRENT to anyone fishing in Alaska or Hawaii during the winter! Capt, kudos from the “Old Retired Soldier”, the Marine and the kid. WE WILL FISH AGAIN THANKS FOR EVERYTHING. AWESOME JOB

  Our favorite excursion in Alaska!

  Captain Trent was amazing! From the first question I had even before booking to the moment we stepped of his boat, the whole experience was wonderful. He quickly and thoroughly answered all questions before we booked. He communicated everything we needed to know and had us ready for a great day of fishing. His boat and equipment were in pristine condition and easy to use. We had a great day on the water and his insight and knowledge helped us have a great day of fishing. He took care of the process to have our catch shipped home and we're looking forward to enjoying it post vacation. I'd highly recommend Capt. Trent and Ketchikan Sport Fishing Charters.

  Great Fishing Day!

  6 Hour Trip – Combo (AM) on July 20, 2025 • 6 adults • 2 children

  Booked with Captain Trent outside of the options available to us on our cruise. Captain Trent made sure we knew where to meet him in the morning, a short 8 min walk from our cruise ship. He then dropped us 2 minutes away from our cruise ship after the trip. Our group was excited for the numerous fish we caught, and the multiple fish species we encountered on this trip. Captain Trent was also very patient with our two kiddos and put them on a bunch of fish. Such an awesome day, weather was great, fishing was great, our group really enjoyed our time. Mahalo Captain Trent!
