Best fishing experience ever!

4 Hour – Half Day Trip (AM)3 adults1 child

Fergus is a very experienced fisherman. The first time we dropped our fishing lines, we hauled in 4 mackerel each. Never caught as much mackerel but great to be able to catch a variety of different fish including Ballon Wrasse that we’d never seen before. Fergus is a great host and supplies sandwiches including his very own brown bread. For our break he brought us to Roberts cove a beautifully calm hidden gem to rest and have lunch. My teen son and daughter and myself would highly recommend Fergus’ fishing experience.

    Great time catching fish with my son.

    4 Hour – Half Day Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    We arrived via cruise ship, and planned a fishing outing for me and my son as an excursion. Fergus coordinated plans with us in advance. Unfortunately, the ship didn’t dock where expected and we had to pivot. Fergus, accommodated by adjusting the pick up point. We were able to get a good couple hours of fishing and caught many fish, including six species. My son had a great time which made it all worth it. Fergus was very welcoming, accommodating, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. I would recommend this fishing for small group looking for a fishing excursion from a cruise ship. However, make sure you know exactly where the ship will port that day and arrange transport if necessary.

    Fantastic gift idea!!

    We gifted this experience to our father for Christmas and he had the most incredible day. He said that Fergus was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely accommodating on their trip. They had a fantastic day and caught loads of fish. He absolutely wants to book again for the Autumn.

    The day was great, we caught enough fish to let go and keep it for cooking, the captain was a great and pleasant person.

    Thanks Svitlana for the noce review. I'm sorry we didn't catch more fish. We caught 7 Species Grey gurnard, Sandeel, Conger, Ballen Wrase, Pollock, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, and a Thorneyback Ray. A lovely sunny day and a fairly flat sea. Cheers Fergus

    Wet, rainy and choppy but still so much fun

    It was a cool day, we had fun, fishing with Fergus was quite an adventure, we caught, well i caught, sandsharks, they call them dog fish over here, and we chilled at the beach cove for a snack, it was pretty and chill and he brought his homemade banana nut bread... its so good .
