If you’re looking for a captain who knows where the fish are and knows how to make you laugh, Captain Scott is your guy! We caught an incredible 60-pound bluefin tuna within the first hour, and the rest of the trip was just as awesome. Captain Scott kept everyone entertained with joke after joke, had the kids smiling the whole time, let them get involved, and made the day feel more like hanging out with a friend than booking a charter. We spent hours trolling, even got to jump in for a swim, and when it was all over, Captain Scott filleted our tuna so we could take it home and enjoy the freshest fish imaginable. Captain Scott and his first mate even gave me pointers on how to cook it tonight for an amazing meal. Great fishing, great laughs, and great memories. If you’re thinking about booking with Captain Scott, stop thinking and just do it—you won’t regret it!

We had a great time! Captain Scott and first mate Mark were wonderful even with 2 people that have NEVER been out on the ocean. Trip out was quick and we started catching fish almost right away. At some points in the trip, all four of us were reeling in fish at the same time!! Both the captain and mate jumped right in to help us all land our fish. We caught more than enough for a delicious dinner. Highly recommend the 1/2day inshore troll for first timers! (we did the 8am-12pm) We will definitely book with them again when we are in the area!

My wife and I had a great time! Fish weren’t biting a lot, I lost three, one of which was a monster! Did not land any of the three (my fault!). First Mate Mark hooked a flounder that my wife landed, meaning she skunked me! This is second fishing trip in the inner bay that Captain Scott took us on and it will not be the last. Mark and Captain Scott very very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, both fishing and area background. We are very happy with that trip.

Captain John was great, the weather was terrible so we had to reschedule once, and then we couldnt go out on the open ocean like we wanted to in hopes of mahi, tuna, and sailfish. We ended up fishing in the back bay and nothing was biting, we ended up going almost back to the docks and settling for some nasty catfish just so the boys caught something. Good experience, great people. I know you can’t “make” the fish bite, but it was somewhat disappointing.
boy I’ll tell you thank you for your generous review. John told me the tarpon were rolling but they wouldn’t bite. That’s so frustrating, you could see them, but you can’t hook them. Your understanding is epic. Back when my nephew was 10 years old, I said to him (on a slow day), we don’t know why they bite sometimes other times they don’t?he said well I know. I said you’re 10, Why don’t you enlighten us? He said uncle Scott they only eat when they’re hungry. best wishes Scott
Captain Scott and Mark were wonderful— personable and knowledgeable, what more could you want? Once the fish were found, they helped make dreams come true for two of my sons by helping to bring in 2 bluefin tuna in a 4 hour trip! Truly a priceless experience. Would absolutely book again, but for longer trip next time! Thank you for helping my family create lifelong memories.
